We are the UK’s most experienced DNA paternity testing service. Since 1987 Cellmark has conducted hundreds of thousands of DNA tests. Our reputation for quality and customer service is recognised by our wide range of customers including members of the public, government departments and the legal profession.
DNA testing is a complex scientific process which can positively identify relationships between people. Most commonly it is used to establish if a man is the true biological father of a child. DNA paternity testing is also often referred to simply as a DNA test, a paternity test or DNA testing. We have a large team of Customer Service Advisers on hand to answer any questions you may have.
1. You should firstly consider whether this is the right course of action for you and all the other people involved. In particular is this in the best interests of the child in question? Please consider that the results can sometimes be unexpected and may have legal implications. You may therefore wish to take your own legal advice through a solicitor or through an advice agency such as the Citizens Advice Bureau.
2. Having decided that this is the right course of action, continue to follow the registration process online. You can also contact Cellmark by free-phone: 08000 362522, or via email: info@cellmark.co.uk
3. You will be asked to complete a short web form. This will enable us to tailor the registration process to your specific requirements. We will send you an email with a unique code which you require to complete the registration process.
4. When you click on the hyperlink in the email we send you it will take you direct to your personalised registration form. Please ensure that you complete all relevant fields.
5. Pay for the test via our secure payment process ePDQ (a secure service
from Barclays Bank). You can pay using either a Credit or Debit card.
You will receive confirmation that payment has been accepted.
6. You can then decide how you wish to arrange a convenient doctor's appointment(s) to have the samples taken.
7. Cellmark will send the sampling kits to your chosen doctor.
8. You will need to take two passport sized photographs with you to the doctor's appointment. This is for purposes of identification.
9. The doctor will then send the samples and photo identification to Cellmark's laboratories in Oxfordshire.
10. Within approximately 3-5 working days the testing report will be
despatched to you by first class post.
